“ This is our second visit to RockCreek's Kirkland location and it will not be our last! We enjoyed everything about our experience. The drinks were well-made and delicious and the service was excellent. We started with the Hamachi crudo and homemade potato rolls - both were super tasty and well-made. We've been enjoying their fish (rotating selection) provencal for years in the Seattle location and the chilean sea-bass provencal continued to raise the bar! We also really enjoyed the smashed potatoes and roasted cauliflower, but the seabass provencal is the real star in our experience. We'll definitely be back and are super happy to have a RockCreek location in Kirkland - thanks for a lovely meal! ”

“ This is a great place! We got the Spanish octopus and it was cooked perfectly. The aioli was a little salty but so good! We got two fish dishes- the Grouper and Chilean Sea bass. While the Chilean Sea bass was cooked perfectly and had a great crust on the outside, nothing can compare to the sauce that the grouper is in. That coconut lime broth was incredible and I wanted to lick the plate. Recommend coming here for the great seafood! Our waitress was great and super friendly and because it was our first time went over the menu and what she recommended. Very helpful. ”

“ Restaurants is located in Kirkland downtown, street parking only. All dishes are pretty good. Highly recommend the Spanish squid starter and the rockfish&shellfish stew. Service is good although they are very busy and the tables are kinda small. Some of their tables are high tables so make sure you ask which type of seating you want when you reserve. ”

“ Great atmosphere and service, yummy small dishes, and nicely crafted cocktails. I really enjoyed the Spicy Margarita, which was actually spicy and had a nice lime-y smoky salt rim. The small dishes we tried were all flavorful and beautifully presented. ”

“ Interesting menu, great service, nice environment (though the bench was hard!). We really enjoyed our brunch. My only complaint was the temperature of the room. First it was hot, and I was actually sweating. Then it was cold. It cycled like this the entire meal. We were in a quiet corner up past the bar. So I don't know if this was a problem for the entire restaurant, or just this corner. As much as we enjoyed the meal, I wouldn't want that experience again. Hard for me to know how to rate the restaurant visit because of this. We both had crab cake eggs Benedict. Loved it. Quite spicy. The crab cake and eggs were made perfectly. No English muffin or bread of any kind, and I found that worked for me. Served with a salad with lovely greens and a nice vinegarette, though the salad was over dressed for me. We finished with the beinets we which were delightful. Though I'd like a fork and spoon to eat it with, so as to enjoy that delicious sauce. No expresso machine, so instead of a latte, I had a coffee. ”

“ I'm just gonna add because I can add nothing but more praise, that I HAD to bring people back for more (this is for brunch btw) But the Apple beignets were to die forrrrrr! And I don't even like cooked fruit but also OMG you guys come here and enjoy the food it's so good I'm just gonna add so that the managers can read this, the bartender will not be able to be present for table BEHIND the bar We had a lovely time but the service was not as good as the first time we came, too much much too long for coffee/food orders and refills Otherwise CARRY ON ”

“ Great to see another RockCreek location on the Eastside and in such a wonderful location by the water. We go to the Fremont location somewhat regularly for both work and for personal outings - it's one of my favorites for sure even though I'm much more of a FlintCreek kind of guy. =) During a quick fly by in the middle of a ride with a buddy, we did a pretty deep dive into the small plates. They were superb and the posted pictures do not do them justice. The salted cucumber small dish was a surprise favorite - we ordered another one after the first. Service was exceptional and this will be a go-to in the future if the crowds aren't too bad! It is a little loud in the main area on the ground floor. Not sure why. It's not like the tables are packed too tightly and the ceilings are very high. And the Kirkland demographic is a pretty tame one. Far more quiet downstairs. ”

“ Eric Donnelly I could kiss you on the mouth for this addition to Kirkland. This was the best meal I've had in a very long time, including experience. Our waitress was knowledgeable, and made excellent selections. We actually ended up choosing quite a bit of her recommendations. We started with the bread with bright herb butter (incredible) and the octopus (incredible). We usually share a few bites of everyone's entrees as well, and every single one had us saying "oh my god" out loud. I got the roughey, and the sauce alone? I'd sell my soul for it. Perfectly tender, topped with crab, it's decadent but light. The yellowfin niçoise was also amazing, and the garlicky little kimchi esque bites were addictive. The seabass is one you have to try. It's technically an endangered fish now, but given that theirs is ethically sourced, we tried it. Literally melt in your mouth, orgasmic, explosions of flavor. They maintain the delicacy of the fish while only enhancing flavor. We tried so many cocktails. The kilowatt is one I daydream about. I usually avoid tropical drinks as they contain a bunch of lime that hurts my stomach. Not this one, absolutely incredible. Like a punch to hawaii. So amazing. The French nurse, as someone who doesn't like rose, was delicate, sweet, and delicious. They make a wicked perfect sazerac. The pheasant tail we tried because curiosity, I didn't hate it. It was definitely a drink I've never had before. The umami of it was insane, and was a fun savory twist. For dessert we tried their take on s'mores. It was delicious! They brought it out with a candle as we were celebrating a birthday, it was a nice touch. We were seated right by the door due to a large party, and it wasn't bad at all. Not overly loud, I'd say about as loud as your usual restaurant. There's a second bar downstairs by the bathrooms that had a cool vibe. We will absolutely be frequenting this place. ”
